How affiliate links work
When a provider runs an affiliate programme, it gives us a link that records that your visit came from TrueCompare. If you then complete a qualifying action with that provider — the provider decides what qualifies, such as a purchase, a subscription or a booking — the provider, or the affiliate network it works with, may pay us a commission.
Not every link on TrueCompare is an affiliate link, and not every provider we cover pays us anything.

What this means for you
Using an affiliate link does not add a separate TrueCompare fee to what you pay. The price, the terms and any cancellation rules are set by the provider, and you agree them with the provider, not with us.

Editorial independence
A commission does not buy a place on TrueCompare. Being part of an affiliate programme does not guarantee that a provider is included, how it is ranked, or whether we recommend it — and providers that pay us nothing are covered by the same process.
Commercial relationships are part of how we fund the site. The checks below are how we keep them separate from what we publish.

How offers become eligible
An affiliate link appears only when an offer has passed every one of these checks. If any check fails or cannot be confirmed, we withhold the commercial link. The editorial content can still be published without it.
Evidence
What the provider publishes, and what we can verify from it.
Editorial review
A person has reviewed what the page says about the offer.
Destination approval
A person has approved where the link goes, for all countries or country by country.
Link health
The link currently works.
Compatibility
The link leads to the offer we describe.
Market
The offer is available in the country where we show it.

Prices, availability and geography
Providers change prices, terms, availability and the countries they serve, sometimes without notice. A price on TrueCompare may not match what you see on the provider’s site. Always confirm the final price and terms with the provider before you buy.
If a link stops working, leads somewhere unsuitable, or is not available where you are, we may remove it or stop showing it.
Disclosure rules differ between countries. This page describes how TrueCompare works; it is not a statement of what any particular law requires.

Sponsored placements
Any paid or sponsored placement on TrueCompare will be labelled as sponsored wherever it appears. It will not be presented as part of an ordinary editorial ranking or comparison.
